California Christmas
The 2nd and 3rd days of Christmas were spent in California with our families. We couldn't wait to be with them. We flew in late Christmas Eve night, and it was quite the Christmas present to wake up on Christmas morning to family and 75 degree weather.Owen put this Santa hat on the second he walked into Gramps' house... he seriously wore it for a week and a half. Mr. Christmas.
Owen was so happy to play with the Christmas train. He knows that thing inside and out... all of the buttons and what they do, all of the cars and the fun details on each one, how to fix the train and the track if something goes wrong... its amazing. The first night we had an accident and someone fell on the train... although it seemed damaged, it worked. Owen told us it was a "christmas miracle". I love him.

8 kids under the age of 8... so fun.

The rest of our time in California was spent doing things we love... being at the beach, being with our family and friends, date nights, and some time with just the 4 of us in our favorite spots.

Mulitple trips to Balboa Island to see the Christmas lights...
...and run around with these rascals.
Lots of lazy mornings in our PJs, eating Cherrios and going to get coffee.
Our kids could not get enough of their grandparents... How they love them.
Everyday the focus is just being with Bella and Papa or Gramps. Peyton would not let anyone else be with her. She wanted her special time with them.
Loved you California...
We somehow managed to bring these two back with us. They helped us gently settle back into Denver life. We enjoyed an amazing weekend of cards, Tebow, Margaritas, and a beautiful snow. Come back soon Emmy and Mic.
