Christmas Morning
I promised myself to soak in every precious minute of the Christmas season this year... I wanted to be very present in every moment. We decorated the house, watched movies by the fire, attended many parties and special dinners with friends, walked around to look at the Christmas lights, decorated cookies, sent and received cards, and of course spent ample time at the mall shopping and riding the christmas train. I loved it... but as a result of being present in the moment, I took absolutely no pictures this December (so sad), although I did burn some amazing memories in my heart.
This year, for the first time, in between time with the Burtons and the Saukkolas, we spent Christmas morning at our house. It was so much fun, we built a fire, opened stockings, ate pancakes, opened presents, and just enjoyed being home together. Owen got a big boy basketball hoop, he was sooo excited, he shot baskets for 30 minutes straight!
He's a natural shooter, just like his dad.
I love my boys.
Glued to his football or whatever ball is in his hands these days.
Playing with his new magnets....
Owen making a silly face while the boys enjoy their pancakes... this boy has become so funny these days.
Thats all I have until I can steal some pics from my sisters and friends from our other events. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and soaked in the truth that God is with us...
