My little man...

Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Owen this week... First Easter, first bath, and chillin in his cradle. Lovin life, he is a well loved boy.

I have been learning a lot about love this week. The love of my husband for me, the love of my family for me, and mostly the love of our God for his children.

Owen William Saukkola

Our long awaited Owen, Born March 15th 4:48 am, 8 lbs. 10 oz. He is our absolute Joy. We named him Owen William after his grandfathers and his dad: Owen is my dad's middle and William: is Mark's dad's and Mark's middle name. We pray that Owen carries on the legacy that our dad's have given our families. That he is sacrificial, full of life, faith and gusto like my dad; that he is strong, humble and servant's hearted like Mark's dad. I pray that he loves God and people and adventures the way that Mark does.

Everyday we are learning how to love him and take care of him. Owen and I had a pretty tough delivery so the recovery has been a little slow. Thank you so much for everyone who has brought meals, sent cards and gifts, left phone messages, and come to visit Owen. We are overwhelmed at the love and support our family and friends have given us in this special time. We need you and we love you.
