the coach

Celebrating the coach's career, 40 yrs. dedicated to coaching and educating, simply amazing.  We went big, as we should have, with a big dinner bash at the house.  It was an incredible night, I loved every second of honoring my dad, he deserves it.

While enjoying some good bbq grub, we had people from different seasons talk about my dad.  Everyone talked about his funny "burtonisms", some people talked about his incredible work ethic, some people talked about his friendship, some talked about what a class act he is and how he always did everything the right way, but everyone shared a common theme... My dad has made an undeniable mark on peoples life, they are changed by him as a leader and a person because he is a man of character and integrity.

We love you coach.  Thank you for being an incredible teacher, mentor, and coach to us all by your faithfulness to God and obedience to be the man he created you to be.  We are so excited for this next chapter of your life, the best is yet to come.
